All about Kate

by Sara Birer September 28, 2016

Kate Robinson is the owner and co-founder of Sweet Fern Ballarat. Kate grew up in Ballarat, leaving to study teaching at University and later becoming an assistant principal in a Melbourne Primary school. As a young girl, Kate dreamt of owning a fragrance store. Instead of a lemonade stand, Kate would set up a stall of self made fragrances (boiled flowers) but unfortunately none sold. She didn't let this stop her from pursuing her dream.

Sweet Fern is now the largest niche fragrance stockist in regional Victoria, carrying illustrious brands such as Penghaligon's and House of Lubin. It is also the only Aesop stockist in Ballarat and one of seven stockist in the world to carry the full product range. Kate is always smiling even when sleep deprived. This full time mother of two and business owner is definitely Ballarat's wonder woman.
