Fragrances must be kept out of direct sunlight and heat. Extreme cold or heat will interfere with essential oils causing a chemical reaction which changes their smell. Places which are perfect to store fragrances are within a wardrobe or draw. Once opening a new fragrance it will start to fade; even the finest perfume will deteriorate with time. If stored correctly, the maximum shelf life varies depending on the fragrance make and type can last up to five years, perhaps longer. At Sweet Fern we know that you love fragrance as much as we do and will treat them as the precious pieces of art that they are.
