How to apply a fragrance

by Sara Birer September 10, 2016

A question that arises regularly within Sweet Fern is where is the best place to apply a fragrance?

The answer to this is pulse points on the body and anywhere that the blood flows closely to the skin. This is because ingredients will react to body heat and emit scent. Wrists, behind the ear lobes, behind the knees and inner elbows are excellent locations. If you find that you are not recognising your signature scent a spritz on the back of the neck is also ideal. Applying a fragrance free moisturiser to the skin before application will increase stay power. After application do not rub the fragrance as it will bruise the top notes interfering with the beautiful transition of ingredients.
