Born of angels and human women, the Nephilim are beings of immense size and strength, their presence tied to corruption and the great flood. Later tales link them to the Watchers, angels who broke divine law, their name echoing the Hebrew root “to fall.” They stand as figures caught between heaven and earth, marked by both origin and transgression.

PERFUMER’S NOTES
“I created Nephilim because I wanted to explore lust. The idea of two different beings coming together has always carried this natural taboo, but there’s also something undeniably erotic about it. Rose has always been the clearest expression of desire, so it became the heart of the fragrance. I wanted it to feel raw, provocative, inviting, and a little exposed. I’ve always loved vintage perfumes like Kouros, Knowing, and Bal a Versailles, and that’s where the animalic undertone comes from. Those scents never hid the parts of us that feel a bit too human. I wanted a trace of that here too - a small challenge, a hint of discomfort that sits under the beauty.

That tension is what makes Nephilim feel alive.”
