Co-Founder, Will (William Borrel).

Will, a master distiller with years of experience creating spirits for major brands, has ventured into creative perfumery. He extracts and distills ingredients from his London boat, Disco Volante, a "floating perfume lab" that revives traditional perfume-making methods. Some of these essences are used in our three fragrances, including Holy Grass.

Holy Grass, also known as sweetgrass or bison grass, is a key ingredient in all Vallense fragrances.  

The bottles and packaging feature green and gold: green symbolizes calming qualities and Vallense's transformative nature, while gold represents the dedication and quality in each bottle.

Each bottle is hand-painted by Will using a technique inspired by a NYC company that made paints for Warhol and Basquiat, creating a tactile, unique effect. The bottles are finished with a heavy, weighted cap.

Co-Founder Andrea Thompson
Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire since 2019, Andrea is also a prominent public speaker, consultant, and journalist. She has worked for Glamour, Grazia, and the Daily Mail before joining Marie Claire as Features Director in 2010. Andrea is known for her innovative approach to conveying important information on society and culture, especially sustainability, diversity, and women’s empowerment. She is Vice Chair of the British Society of Magazine Editors and offers a unique perspective on global fashion, beauty, and fragrance trends.

Co-Founder Clorinda Di Tommaso
CEO and founder of CDT Angels Srl, a management consultancy specializing in global strategic brand management, Clorinda has 25 years of experience in building luxury beauty brands across EMEA, UK, and USA. Her expertise spans from brand development in the incubation phase to growth strategies for established brands, many of which are now industry leaders or hold cult status.

Perfumer - Pia Long

Dreaming in smell and moving olfactive objects in her mind, Pia's love of stories, colour, pattern and texture translates to a perfumery style she describes as olfactive magic realism.

Council member of the British Society of Perfumers, Pia is a passionate communicator about the trade, and assists the Society in its activities.

The Box, designed to be timeless, opens from top to side, revealing the fragrance within.

Each bottle features a handcrafted golden amulet that can be removed and worn as jewelry or used as a key ring. This protective charm enhances light and personal radiance.

The Amulet's back features the mantra: SPIRIT, SUN & SOURCE, names of our first three fragrances.

The numbers on the amulet are based on Chaldean Numerology, a translation of "Vallense." They represent the three core spirits of Vallense fragrances and serve as a mantra for self-reflection and manifestation:
