How Bee Oud develops:

Bee Oud traces the pulse of creation through dark honey, beeswax, and the quiet hum of a living hive. Grounded by Malaysian sandalwood and touched with the creamy richness of kaya — the pandan-infused custard made from coconut milk and egg, beloved across Southeast Asia — it evokes a warm, green sweetness that is both lush and cuddly. As usual there’s a little funk in here as it’s our signature!

A bit about the oud oil that the house uses here:

Try to picture the whole composition rests on a complex foundation of Indian oud, revealing its raw animalic twist and wild warmth. One of my favorite ouds has to go to Indian Oud.

This lies side by side with a rare oud distillation from Laos — a one-time-only batch unlike any other! So happy to have acquired this, but was sad to see the last drop finishes so quickly.... This particular oud opens like a private floral gathering, where resin and nectar mingle with gentle laughter, and the air glows with its soft, fruity sweetness- a party of oud and honey chimes.

A side note: the beeswax here is like frosting on pastries with a crystalline quality, scent in its own beauty.
