A masterpiece. This fragrance opens in a mysteriously spicy way. Peppers & balsam fir blend to make something almost medicinal, like an apothecary from an other-worldly place (Narnia maybe). Then later the star of the show: rose. Bois Impérial Extrait is no-nonsense one of the most beautiful rose fragrances I've encountered. I sprayed some that got on my curtain. For days on end, the curtain gave wafts of a nearby rose garden on every breeze. And the rose feels so real. A spicy mystery, followed by a most decadent rose garden. Uni-gendered, luxurious, very classy. Thank you again, Sweet Fern, for an amazing find. P.S. this fragrance has staying power. Not like a harsh 'beast mode' fragrance, but the rose note will linger and smell fresh for literally days
